Jackalope

This was my contribution to a holiday gift exchange in LAIKA’s model shop. Everyone got a resin-cast baby doll body and created a unique sculpture from there. I made a steel armature and sculpted propoxy over that, finishing with acrylic paint and gloss for the eyes.

The Night Goblin Malignity Specimen Collection is a scientific endeavor to catalog, preserve, and display the finest available examples of Night Goblins, making them available for educational, research, and conservation purposes.
Made with polymer clay, mounted on MDF, painted in acrylic, and a little gloss coat for the eyes. 2” tall or less.

A Study in Offcuts

When you’re making a miniature truss bridge, there are dozens of compound miters. Test pieces and mistakes make for a lot of weirdly shaped offcuts, and you have to make a little sculpture out of them.
